Is ventiliation required for a Zip Tap?
Dut to the sophisticated technology, Zip under-counter system do not require much additional ventilation space, so no cutting of the cabinet doors for ventilation, meaning it won’t interfere with your kitchen design. The clearence space required for the undercounter unit is H300 x W150 x D150. All of this falls within the space requirements required for install anyway, it’s advisable however to leave this space if you store anything in the proximity of the system.

Depending on the type of Zip and the capacity you opt for will determine the size of the Zip Tap undercounter system. The most important thing to consider is if you have a minium undercounter space of W600 x H500mm availble for our engineers to be able to install a Zip Tap systme for you. The size differences are outlined below and the correct size for each Zip tap are displayed in the Zip Tap section on our website.
