Zip Tap CO2 canisters for sparkling water taps?

You can buy Zip Tap CO2 canister replacements directly from us here at Wellbeing Group. Click here to purchase the correct replacement for your sparkling Zip Tap. On average a Zip Tap CO2 canister will have the capacity to last between 250-350 cups (160 Litres), deending on your carbonation levels.

How to replace Zip CO2 canisters for sparkling water taps?

Changing the CO2 Canister on your Zip Tap is super simple. Follow these easy steps and the sparkling water will be flowing again:

Equipment Checklist before you get stared – Protective Gloves / Soapy Water  / Sponge / Shifting Spanner

1. Firstly flick the valve on the regulator at the top on the canister to the off postition to cut any gas coming through.

2. Using the LCD screen press menu > system settings > CO2 settings > CO2 purge > press start. This will release any remaining CO2 from the hoses.

3. Put on protective golves and hold the canister vertical and twist to detached from the regulator at the top. For the larger canisters you’ll need the shifting spanner to remove the regulator from the top of the canister

4. Take the new canister, again hold vertical and twist to attach onto the regulator. For the larger canisters, use the shifting spanner again to tighten the regulator bolt.

5. Once tightened, apply some soapy water around the connection and turn the valve on to check for CO2 leaks.

6. Repeat the process from step 2 to complete another CO2 purge.

Using the LCD screen press menu > system settings > CO2 settings > CO2 purge > press start.

7. Once completed press the green tick, then press CO2 reset and another green tick below and you should be good to go.

How often do Zip Tap filters need changing?

Your Zip Tap will require a new filter every 12 months, (or after 30,000 thousand litres) an orange flashing light will appear on your Zip Tap indicating that a filter change is due. You can either purchase these diretly from us to replace yourself, alternatively you can save money and hassle with our service plans and one of our engineers will come out to replace this for you.
